Green innovation lab

On 17-25 of August, in Lithuania, Antaliepte village, youth exchange project „Green innovation lab“ will be organised. 24 young people from Slovenia, Denmark, Portugal and Lithuania will come to one place in idea to empower young people to be able to found creative and innovative solutions and to actively participate in changes making in their living environment, community. Objectives of this project are: - To promote concern and participation of young people about his society process; - Through common activity destroy pre-stereotype about other cultures; - To strengthen youth responsibility for his living enviroment; - Create safe and interactive enviroment for youth non-formal learning and to ensure appropriate conditions for difference competences development. We will reach it by invoking attractive topic for youth- innovation application for environmental problems solving, building a sustainable society. 8 days young people from different countries will be creating and learning in the same space, discuss about different countries situations and progress in this field. In workshops and creativity labs will get opportunity to exchange their different experiences, get new ideas from other young people. This topic is very relevant to practical youth understanding about their abilities to make real changes by working in a team, sharing ideas, thinking creative and innovative- most activities are orientated to create something tangible. Within the project a lot of attention will be focused on youth who is living at less populated areas, who has less possibility to participate actively in youth organizations. We will try to promote them to start an action by showing how many immeasurable experience you can receive from it. We believe that these youth exchanges could have long-lasting effect for its participants, in order to ensure active youth participations, involvement and innovative thinking.
