The Association whose called Paideia , waiting for the expiring date of 4th February of the Erasmus + program key action1, is glad to propose a project of Youth exchange which is called: Green Growth. The goals we would get through to this project are all about the improvement of social skills of the young involved people, to raise their awareness to a conscious use of natural resources and to a better MAN - ENVIRONMENT relationship which is in line with the 7th environment action program that sets the following “to do list” for waste policy in EU: reducing the amount of waste generated; to maximize recycling and re-use; limiting incineration to non-recyclable materials; To phase out landfilling to non-recyclable and non-recoverable waste; To ensure full implementation of the waste policy targets in all Europe Member States. With all of the activities Paideia wants to show the differences between EU Member States about: Waste Collection and Waste disposal, use of partners’ cities green areas, use of renewable energies and about the obtained achievements from the imposed rules of the environment policies of European Union in each Nation in which our partners live. Thanks to the activities we want to produce in our partners a thinking over how and what to do to be in sustainable development how European Union ask us, the members of Paideia believe that sustainable development is a good way to live that meet the needs of the nowadays generations without destroy the resource of this world to meet the needs of the next one. Paideia is going to promote and increase the development of a shared feeling of “to be a European citizen” which is the result of the involvement of guys from the different European cultures whose are occupied in the exchange. Paideia also wants to increase the interest about those themes through activities which produce grow of the single person and community. The activities are based on NOT FORMAL EDUCATION and are focus on sustainable themes and European citizen. The youth exchange will take place in Palermo from 06/10/2015 to 15/10/2015 and it is planned for 20 European young guys aged form 18 to 25.
