"Green” Art for Sustainable Growth

Training Course entitled "Green" Art for Sustainable Growth will be organised in Sabac, Republic of Serbia.The training’s duration: 10working days. TC objectives:-To train youth leaders and youth workers from EU and SEE countries and equip them with competencies to use“green” art as a tool in promotion and development of “green” skills and behaviors among young people with fewer opportunities,- To foster young people's commitment to sustainable growth as well as developing young people's skills in promotion and launch of new quality projects, both within the framework of the Youth in Action Programme and outside of it,- To raise awareness of the importance and possibilities offered by sustainable development schemes, with particular reference to European Union’s programmes-To give to the participants a tool for multiplying the competencies gained during the TC at local level, in order to involve and empower young people-To improve and the quality of future YiA projects implemented by partner promotersPartner promoters put a strong emphasis on preparatory work done by participants in advance, including collecting of examples of commitment of young people to sustainable growth in local communities of promoters, outcomes of youth with fewer opportunities that participated in actions, and problems for sustainable growth on local level. Non-formal education will be the methodology used during the training. It will include icebreaker dynamics, an association fair, working sessions on Art in Non Formal Education, Intercultural learning workshops, presentations on Sustainable Growth, Art Workshops, presentation of the Youth in Action Programme, working sessions on future projects, field visit, intercultural evening and open space workshops. Reflection and learning outcome groups will be led every day in order to monitor the flow of the project.No of participants: 24 from 8 countries: Romania,Slovenia,Turkey,Italy,Albania,Bosnia and Herzegovina,FYRMacedonia,Serbia.
