Good friends from elementary school, we spend a lot of time together linked the love of plants. A few of us want to fulfill their passion professionally, so they learn in the horticultural school. We are actively looking for opportunities to pursue our hobby such as nursery-garden. All of us are planted flowers on balconies, helping older people to take care of recreations site. So we met an old lady who told us about the fabulously green Paris backyards, and how nice to live there. Dawned on us that we can move European climates to ours, concrete yards. "Play Green" is the idea of creating green spaces for 6 yards in a poor region of Lodz. We want to actively participate in the social life permanently changing the environment by raising the quality of life, activate and integrate people, who have the need of changes around them. Assuming together with the inhabitants of the yards we want to influence on the decisions of the City in terms of respect for freedom of choice as to the quality and conditions of life and develop the city. Residents yards, especially young people from poor or broken families are actively involved in the project. Participation will encourage them to take care of established gardens. Methods: discussions, debates, exchange of ideas, ideas shower, Green Workshops for adult residents and their children, The Study Design, happenings, technical and practical activities, integration meetings. The result will be the introduction of life on the yard, beautify the environment, creating a space for holiday socializing.
