Grade and Treat Core Food in Care

The main aim in the project is to improve the state of health of elderly people in general focusing on food and how to treat and grade it in nursing. The institutions and colleges taking part are representing organizations producing food and educating students for the social and health care sector, dietetics and kitchen staff. The target groups are IVT, Vetpro and elderly people. An important issue is to develop and change value and behaviour of Vetpro educating IVT to guide them to take care of elderly people's nutritional state, to give inspiration to motivate staff members and students to take an active part when working with producing food for elderly people or serving a meal, and to teach and train them to make a difference when producing food for and working with elderly people in nursing homes.A subject is to create working environments during the meetings and more important in between the meetings in order to benefit from fruitful discussions across borders and sectors to found and develop new methods to bring on in the project.
