Between 2nd and 8th March 2015 will be held in Madrid a youth exchange called "Go Green!" in rural áreas. The objectives of this project are: - Promote intercultural exchange among participants; - Developing a sense of ecological awareness, environmental and rural; - Deeply personal attitudes toward the preservation and enhancement of the rural environment; - Contribute to the creation of a meditation on the environment and its preservation; - Educate participants on the popular urban dynamics; The exchange will run for 6 days (excluding travel days) and involved 18 young (18 participants + 1 leader for each group) representatives from each of the 3 organizations promoting the initiative (for a total of 21 participants) interested in exchanging experiences, culture and traditions with other young people from Europe (Italy, Romania and Spain). The workshop planned activities, sports activities, discussions and creative cultural night, which will allow the perfect cohesion between the group of participants in addition to sharing their own culture and traditions. The idea arises from the geographical similarity of both communities involved in the project, particularly the mountain areas in the region of Calabria in Italy, Carpathos in Romania and Spain the Autonomous Community of Madrid. North Mountains Both communites privileged by a rural setting, where nature is present together with long traditions and culture. Likewise, the urban and rural development resembles in many respects traditional culture and food, has national and international importance. The exchange will create a large space for reflection on our natural environment, rural and environmental issues, its recovery and preservation, and to contribute to the creation of a new environmental awareness.
