The project “Go For Green” will be realized in Shaki, Azerbaijan from the 8’th to the 14’th of September 2013, being a multilateral youth exchange that will bring together groups from Turkey, Georgia, Romania, Spain, Ukraine, Czech Republic and Moldova.This project will involve 40 people, aged between 18 and 25 years, 4 youngsters + 1 leader from each country, fulfilling gender balance condition.Volunteer activities for environment will be held by youngsters of different cultures.The main theme of the project will be protection the natural environment on individual, organizational or governmental levels, for the benefit of the natural environment and humans.The youth will deal with the topics through the non-formal education approach, including outdoor activities, workshops, games with the aim to protect our natural environment from different kinds of pollution.For promoting active and European citizenship among youngsters and persons who are not familiar with the Youth in Action programme, we planned to realise a street action that will involve all the participants and will increase awareness of global environment challenges. Through this street action we want to underline the importance of volunteering for this topic. We aim to use all our creativity and entrepreneurship, in order to find solutions of protecting the environment. This experience will contribute to the personal development of the youngsters, as they will all participate with their ideas in preparing and realising the “Go For Green.In our opinion, this project will improve the environmental respect. By the youngsters active participation in the project “Go For Green” we expect awareness of the global reality.
