With the present plan we aim at presenting our visions and expectations for a technologically advanced school based on the collaboration between students and teachers with a view to acquiring knowledge as well as reinforcing innovative teaching methods. Having overcome the transitional stage of the school merging in 2013, the first robust steps have been made towards an international orientation to new data, including the adaptation of educational quality to technological advances. The plan involves all those teachers who share a positive perspective about the initiatives concerning the improvement of the education provided, the use of new technological tools and teaching methods and the school’s participation in European and international co operations making the most of the new technological means as well as social networking.The first step is the voluntary participation of eight highly qualified teachers who are willing to take on the dispersion of knowledge, encountering the challenge to help students put technology to good use with the ultimate aim of acquiring knowledge. All the participants share excellent knowledge of the English language. Moreover, three of the teachers are holders of postgraduate degrees and another one is holder of a doctoral degree. Apart from those qualifications, the whole team has participated in seminars related to educational and managerial matters, an Erasmus+ partnership, e-twinning programmes and has also leaded various educational activities. In any case the urging motive of the involved teachers focuses on further knowledge and willingness to spread the obtained experience within the school environment.The plan revolves around the modernization of the school, the incorporation of new technologies within the school’s everyday culture, the development of a positive learning environment, the development of the educational quality through the utilization of new technological tools, the creation and implementation of educational platforms in the teaching process, the adjustment of social networking tools with learning and the vocational enhancement of the school’s teachers. As for the implementation of the plan, we have chosen subjects which connect our needs with our aims and will contribute to the further vocational development of the school staff.The chosen activities concern seven-day training seminars, conducted by acknowledged European institutions, which are about the incorporation of technology in teaching methodology and in various educational activities which, when combined, create the appropriate conditions for an inclusive learning approach.For the successful accomplishment of our plan we will fulfill all the required preparatory actions so as to maximize the potential benefit for both the trained teachers and the school community in general. Furthermore, we have already launched the preparation of classrooms which are fully equipped in such a way as to meet the standards of the new knowledge and the immediate realization resulting from it.As for the fruitful and effective development of the provided knowledge, there will be substantial support on behalf of all the teachers of the school who wish to adopt the new technologies for the benefit of the educational process.The participation in the training activities will definitely have a positive impact on the school community. It will activate the students’ interest and will contribute to the creation of a modern and attractive environment which serves their interest and develops knowledge. New technologies will enable teachers to provide a more qualitative education and will help to transform the learning process into an essential and easily accessible procedure. Last but not least, such an experience will potentially upgrade our long term expertise in organizing and coordinating group work projects on a European level and it will attract all the more students who wish to unfold their multilateral personalities.
