The Norwegian Social Forum (NSF) is the Norwegian counterpart to the World Social Forum, and every second year we host a conference focusing on a range of globalization-related questions through debates, workshops, dialogues, seminars and lectures over the course of four days in Oslo. One of our main target groups are young people, for whom we provide a special events program, housing, and entertainment. We are aiming at involving more than 1.000 youths. The youth participating in the conference will get the possibility to receive information on a wide range of subjects through workshops, lectures, campaigns and theatre. The youth will also be given several occasions to express their thoughts and opinions to experts, policy makers and other participants in the conference. A key point is to make local branches of the organizations interested in the conference and its themes. We hope to give all kinds of youth all over Norway the possibility to learn, to express themselves and to give them the will and the tools to work for a better future for themselves and others.
