Global Warning!
Date du début: 1 janv. 2015, Date de fin: 1 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Global warming is one the most important problems for today and the future. It is highly important issue for our planet. Our Project aims to raise awareness on this issue, present the ways of preventions and how to use technology effienctly to minimize the negative effects on our planet. It took place in Izmit (Kocaeli) between the days of 19-26 March 2015 with 30 participants. Izmit is a city that is one hour bus ride away from Istanbul and it is one of the cities with highest amount of industrial facilities which makes it possible to experience the effects of greenhouse gases. Global warming can be defined as the rise in avarage temprature of Earth's climate system which caused by the increase of the greenhouse gase concentration in the atmosphere due to the technologic developments. It can be also described as the cumulation of greenhouse gases in the air starting from the Industrial Revolution. The proportion of the human activities which increases the effect of the global warming are: misuse of enegry sources by 49%, industrial effects by 24%, deforestation 14% and agricultural by 13%. According to UN report of 2007; If the the avarage temprature of earth increases by 2 degrees Celcius, then there will be lack of clean water, when it increase by 5 degrees Celcius, sea level will increase by 5 meters and when it increases by 6 degrees celcius, flow of populations will start. Here are the suggestions of Kyoto Protocol on climate change: ? to Increase of the energy efficency ? to Developm of renewabe energy ? to Support of Sustainable agriculture ? to Coverte of methan emision ? to decrease of poisoned gas emisions which can create greenhouse effect ? Protection and widening of absover areas (forest, vegetation etc. ) The training course methods were consist of non formal education such as simulation and role games, group and individual works. Trainer and invited experts shared their knowledge and experiences and facilitated the learning process of participants. As well as participants were actively participated in process and shared their experiences, knowledge. Training course gathered 30 young people from Estonia, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Romania, Greece, Hungary and Turkey. It held in Izmit(Kocaeli) from March 19th to 26th, 2015.
