The overall aims of the proposed action are (1) raise awareness of global interdependencies and to promote global responsibility and responsible citizenship among the adult learners and wider public in Central/South European countries, (2)contribute to elimination of regional disparities in education in EU, (3) enhance capacities and competencies and thereby to contribute to increasing of employment in the project countries.The project will develop a free online educational multimedia portal for learning about global issues, with the focus on wider interested public, comprising mainly of adult learners of various affiliations, to social workers, multipliers and teachers whom it can help to widen their teaching perspective. The project will provide user’s friendly and easy accessible form of the website, versions translated to 9 national languages for eliminating any constrains for non English speaking EU population and create and interactive tools for individuals/organizations from different countries to share their questions, suggestions and experiences in Global Learning. Content prepared by specialists in the field (both external and internal) will include needed amounts of information on particular Global Learning topic, interactive exercises, glossary of terms, lectures, courses and reading materials. Second level of our e-learning will consist of database of specialised methodical and other sources, Global Learning experts list, both on international and national level. Moreover, in the web different possibilities for social interaction will be included. There will be virtual classes with a Global Learning tutor, chat rooms and discussion forums allowing for real-time communication and practice. Users will be able to send private messages to each other.The website applications will be used and improved and new applications will be developed, enabling easy, automatic add- of new languages, without having to invest a lot of programming time additionally.
