BACKGROUND: The project takes place in a rural setting, at some community for discomfort organized as social farms: Casa Bosticco (mental health+refugees) of San Damiano d'Asti, Asti Casa Martino (women and children+refugees), and to a lesser extent at Casa Rina e Dino in Guarene (for refugees). These 3 community realities, albeit different, they share a type of residential care, in which people guests remain for longer or shorter periods, and the methodology of social farming, in which the valence of therapeutic-rehabilitative and horticulture 'breeding of small animals is a cornerstone of the community project, in which everyone is involved. A third element that distinguishes the project is the adoption of sustainable lifestyles (self-generation of energy from renewable sources, the food self and the ability to recycle and repair). In addition all 3 houses are increasingly characterized by a multicultural context, where different histories and different nationalities come together and try to live with. OBJECTIVES: The overall objective of the project is to increase social cohesion, inclusion, fairness. Alongside its operational objectives, then there are the training objectives of the EVS volunteers; for the first half of the project: learning the language, mutual understanding, revision of expectations, resources and individual limits, knowledge of the area and the local culture. For the second half: achieving greater autonomy (both with respect to the service that the ability to move on land), knowledge of local peculiarities also cultural, relational greater wealth through the new network of friends. Final draft of the Youthpass and assessment of skills in output. Transversal to these objectives are the methods, which make reference to the priorities of the Action 1: Working for social inclusion and well-being of the people, to raise awareness of being European citizens, acquire skills to combat unemployment, to acquire an entrepreneurial spirit, use ICT, to improve the learning. PARTICIPANTS: No. 2 from Germany and France, preferably at least 20 years, which calls for: - Be aware of the issues of the project; - Be well disposed towards manual labor, particularly agriculture and handling of animals; - Want to work in a multicultural context - Foster respect the faith of others; - Be employed in moving (to and from public transport); - Desire to study the Italian language; - Be proactive and resourceful, bring ideas to increase the sharing of intercultural experiences and European; - Put aside their own addictions such as internet, alcohol and smoking. The demand of TESORI to the volunteers, is to strongly desire to get involved and experiment in a lifetime experience deep and transformative. ACTIVITIES: the project will be divided into two phases. In the first (3 months), the volunteers will be to Casa Bosticco and partly to Casa Rina, in the second (another 3 months) will move to Casa Martino and partly to Casa Rina. Volunteers will have an active role in supporting the project, but especially in the beginning, will be considered especially those in training, so it will be intensified educational support and mentoring. The activities in which the volunteers will devote themselves are many and varied, mainly of a practical nature and to play along with the guests of the structures and operators. In fact, the "deal with" is the best way to enter into a relationship, and most importantly allows guests to regain management skills of everyday life often compromised. By way of example: housework and routine maintenance of the house, cooking, horticulture, maintenance of green areas, supply of firewood, animal care, relaxation moments (parties, outings, holidays, moments of spirituality and training), Support for refugees, and to Casa Martino even nurturing of children. Gradually the volunteers will be able to propose new activities and build on their personal inclinations. Also held meetings in schools to raise awareness of the EVS and volunteering, and work updating the site TESORI and documentation of their project. EXPECTED IMPACTS: We wish that the project has mainly practical value of achieving the objectives of, and impart an improvement in the quality of services and quality of life perceived by the people involved (volunteers and end users of the project). Then, the project must have its visibility and to put a European cultural and local activities. LONG-TERM BENEFITS: The volunteers will disseminate the experience and skills learned in their future life contexts, bringing new knowledge and strategies, but leave themselves a sign with their work and relationships created.
