Young people feel that they are left aside and alienated in a society that does not care about them. Friends of the Earth will give them the opportunity to discuss and get control over things that happen in their country. The two-days seminar which will take place at 19th to 20th of March 2016 in Limassol and aims to strengthen social dialogue among citizens improve youth participation for social policy reform, inform citizens how Aarhus convention works and what can be done to in order to have an active role in civil society as a European citizen. We will explain and discuss the Aarhus Convention., how a citizen can act and react if certain procedures are not followed as it should. After young people will work on their own ideas on this matters discussing with policy makers what can be done in case that a certain protocol is not followed. Young people will work on their own ideas on how the state could work more systematically and they will work in groups for writing down their own policies. Our main idea is to turn the best of these ideas -policies into a legal input . During the whole seminar we will use non formal methodology where we will have debates, brainstorming, discussion in focus groups and open methodology where policy makers will discuss with young people the actual input of their ideas. Through this workshop, more than 2000 people will be informed since we will use any product of this workshop to promote it like photos , groups in social media , pubic meetings , articles, reports , results, press conference , posters . More than 2000 people will be informed on these matters.
