" Get Over The Handicap "is a youth exchance project ,which will take place in Mersin/Turkey between 5- 14 June and consist of 30 participants , will be coordinated by For Better World Community with the partnership of Netherlands, Italy, Romania and Croatia. Our Project emerge from requirement that infuse empathy into people to erase the obstacle of disability. Our aim, beginning from our participants, is to contribute to growing of people who are sensible against environment, have strong moral feelings, have volunteering conscious and to supply the social sensibility, create mass awareness. We are trying to transfer this conscious to as far as many people in order that we can have much better world to live together by doing our best. Because the concept ‘disability’ is an international, we strongly believe that our project makes intercultural solidarity and interaction possible in an effective way. Our project consists of nonformal education methods such as, various interaction activities, seminars, cultural activities and city sightseeing. The aims of this project are; - To supply the cultural range and increase the intercultural interaction -Using love and respect as the wall against discrimination that comes from differences caused by religion,race and gender and make people consious about it. -To contribute youth’s creativity and entrepreneurship. -To help youth to learn the common training method and encourage them to use. -To provide youth to learn the European opportunities and to meet their rights.
