Project "Get Active" involved three volunteers and three organisations: Stowarzyszenie "Jeden Świat" (Poland) acting as coordinating and sending organisation and International Scout Centre (Georgia) and Gorodets psychoneurological internat (Russia) acting as receiving organisation. Volunteers worked with children and youth of Rustavi and supported patients of the Gorodets' internat in their everyday activites. Activities equiped participants with social, lingustic and intercultural competences, which helped them already to find themselves better on the labour market and, through this, contribute to fight against youth unemployment in Europe. Project also had a positive impact on beneficiaries as contributed to building stronger, united and respecftul Europe, as well as, encourage the benficiaries to take advantage of the innovative working methods and self-development such voluntary service or usage non-formal education. In Russia, the compagine iniciated by EVS volunteers to support mentally disabled people as well as the ones suffering from mental disorders on was granted by the local authorities. Project took place between January 2015 and July 2016.
