Our project titled ' Usage of the Traditional Street Games in Education' will be implemented in Kreisvolkshochschule Harz GmbH Institution, the city Germany with the participation of 10 teachers decided up from Ömeriye Secondary School. This project is going to involve equal number of teachers who are experts in his/her field. The most general aim of our project is traditional teaching methods as well as reflection of cultural features. It will increase success in education. This will be provided with students' recognition of their culture, having fun and practicing in learning. Since the students expose to a lot of different school subjects, they have problem in the process of adaptation from primary to secondary school. Abstract school subjects,permanent usage of expression technique in teaching cause boredom,distraction, estrangement from school and absence. We need a new curriculum which focuses on students' need and interest to compensate this and this kind of negativeness. For this reason, traditional street games which provide fun and practice in learning should be used in education. In aspect of pedagogic and institutive success this comes into prominence.
With this having education in foreign country, our teachers are going to recast the curriculum change and traditional street game will take place in the lessons. By this way the child will learn easily,solve problem,have the ability of self expression, become socialize, improve the language and communication ability, learn the emotion of competition and sharing. Also this curriculum change will supply creative thinking, knowing her/his environment and cultural features. In this manner, the teachers who will teach the lesson help the students about giving information in addition to prepare to real life. At the result of this having education, our teachers will share their knowledge in their field with their students. Thus the teacher will prepare the curriculum which supplies to adopt the lesson.
In education adoption of traditional children games played in street, won't provide positive effects in terms of only participant school. By the way of dissemination activities, other schools and educators will realize necessity the usage of children's game in education. Other schools will implement and head towards this kind of projects.
