Our school Toki Akşemseddin Secondary School has adopted the mission to raise the young who have strong characters, who aim to reach the success, who can be innovative, creative, leader, who have high skills of communication, who are appreciated by the community, who are well-behaved and civilized in all levels of Primary Education; within this scope, we would like to apply to some trainings in order to contribute to realization of our mission and vision. In order to realize our holistic targets which we have mentioned in our quality improvement to keep the demand and the quality live
* The attendance of our teachers to in-service trainings
* We have determined several strategic development tools
In the need analyses and satisfaction surveys made we have determined the problems such as the attendance of the students in our schools, early school drops, the lack of qualified communication of the parents with their children and not being able to guide their children. That’s why staff are needed who have the competence to guide parent-student in a right way regarding preventing early school drops as mentioned in the EU 2020 targets, who could raise awareness in parents about the negative results of early school drops and absenteeism, who could affect the students success in a positive way.
When looking at our strategic development plan, it has been determined that our school doesn’t have internationalization experience, that’s why the institute needs to be raised to the level of internationalization and be given importance. We would like our staff to take in-service trainings on international level about coaching the parents and students and solution to the problems of early school drop and absenteeism. Our team consisting of 8 people have been determined among our successful, innovative, open to development by making a democratic selection. The participants within the needs of our school needs;
* Training of how to coach parents and students
* They will take training on reducing the early school drops and absenteeism problems.
* During the trainings informal techniques, group works, sample lesson models, study visits, presentations and open air activities will be included. Gains will be presented in both our school and other schools in long term. All kinds of activities will be disseminated through seminars. Finally, in our school more European style coaching system work will be implemented in our school; this way, our school will have an innovative, rational, modern, sustainable and updated strategic plan. The trainings and the outputs will provide contributions to the professionalization of our school and internationalization targets of our school.
