Ganztagsbetrieb zur Förderung des Miteinanders, Vielfalt als Bereicherung
Date du début: 1 nov. 2016, Date de fin: 31 oct. 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Our school is located in the rural district called “Mecklenburgische Seenplatte”. It has got an immense catchment area for both the pupils and the teachers. In the past five years the number of our pupils has risen from about 250 to more than 330 and lots of pupils and parents are really interested in our school. Many teachers and our school administration are working hard in order to give our pupils the best chances to get appropriate school-leaving qualifications and to prepare them for their future training. Four out of twenty-six teachers have acquired qualifications as managerial staff because of being personally well-prepared for the changes in school management and organization. The family background of our pupils is not very often an educated one or the pupils have immigrated from a non German-speaking country. So, we are additionally required to assist in the upbringing not just the education of those pupils. We do not feel well-prepared in that field of work. While visiting our Swedish partner school during the last years we have noticed lots of pupils having immigrated from very different nations. But we have never exchanged experiences of integration and potential problems of their setting in. Our main focus was set on a school exchange of small groups. We are planning the project in order to improve the work at our school in a well-directed and planned way. We want to fulfill the pupil`s demands and needs. At our full-time day school we want to develop the possibilities of interdisciplinary learning. Pupils from different school years should use the chances to cooperate. We wish to continue to motivate pupils to feel responsible for each other. Due to lack of time at our kind of school it is more than difficult to try projects in different subjects. That is the reason why we use the extra lessons given to a full-time day school. The Swedish partner school is a school with the appropriate experience. Lots of teachers and educational members of staff are working there. By taking part in this project we plan to concentrate on the exchange of teachers, responsible persons and committees of collaboration. How could it be possible to organize our school in a more effective and pupil-concentrated way by using available resources? The main emphasis should be put on sitting in on other teacher`s classes and lots of conversations, in which we can also pass on our gained experiences. Feedbacks given between phases are important for trying out things and further agreements with the committees of collaborations at our own schools. If lots of pupils, teachers and parents at both schools share the same view that, “ Now that we visited each other, we have improved our schools.”, it will show that our project has had an effect.
