Date du début: 5 déc. 2016, Date de fin: 4 déc. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project is aimed at the field of adult education, Action K1, within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme. The aim of the project is to develop our institution as a local and regional innovation centre in the field of foreign language teaching to adults. In this respect, the project is based on the organizing, in collaboration with European training providers, of 4 mobility activities for 4 trainers: 3 mobilities to be conducted in Germany (Leipzig, Freiburg and Jena) and one in England (London). Theaforementioned mobilities were selected considering the identified needs at organization level, namely:- identifying and applying innovative and creative methodical and didactic methods that will meet the current needs of the adult students involved in the foreign language learning process;- improving the linguistic competencies;- internationalization, alignment with the European teaching and learning processes, systems and standards. In agreement with the identified need at institutional level, the project’s objectives are:-innovation of strategies and methodologies for teaching-learning of foreign languages;- internationalization, alignment with the European teaching and learning processes, systems and standards, as a vital aspect for the organization;- improving linguistic skills with the purpose of reaching a thorough understanding of target language mechanisms and the improvement of knowledge about the language.By achieving these objectives, it seeks to shift the centre of gravity towards the institutional level, prioritizing the individual development of trainers, together with the implementation of methods and techniques for foreign language teaching as new working tools, aiming to assimilate them swiftly while focusing on the key competencies at European level. All participants to the courses shall benefit from activities designed to improve their linguistic competencies in a different cultural context, including the assimilation of teaching methods specific to the teaching-learning of foreign languages. Each mobility activity is different from one another, by means of its geographical and cultural specificity and the structure and content of the course to be offered by the host organization, as follows:-The trainer who will take part in the Freiburg course shall on a wide range of conversation exercises and discussion rounds, with up-to-date reading and listening texts, conducted in the digitized German Laboratory, addressing a selection of themes integrating modern methods used in teaching German grammar. -The trainer who will attend the Leipzig course will take part in seminaries focused on German language exercises, addressing aspects of German language phonetics in individual sessions. - The trainer who will attend the Jena course will address the innovating aspects of teaching and learning German. - The trainer who will attend the London course– in England will approach classroom methods and techniques, classroom management and correction techniques. The Course provides a forum for the development of professional competencies, ranging from perspectives on recent progress on English language teaching to practical ideas for activities and the classroom. Alignment with the European teaching standards will enable the trainers from the institution to gain access to other programmes of ongoing professional training, take part in forums or specialty conferences, in agreement with the “lifelong learning” concept. The expected results of the project will change the manner of teaching foreign languages within our institution, leading to an increase in the applicability and accessibility level of the provided services, a more efficient relationship with the target group and an increase in competitiveness on the market of service provision for the training of adults in the field of foreign languages. The impact shall be traced not only to the direct participants, namely the trainers from Lektor Junior SRL, but the beneficiaries as well, i.e. the students attending the courses of our institution, by making use of the competencies assimilated during these courses.Following the performance of this project, the institution expects an improvement in the level of linguistic competence and professional methodics of its trainers, and the forging of partnerships with similar European institutions, thus opening itself towards communication by means of technology not only during the mobility activities but afterwards as well.
