Northwestern Bulgaria is the poorest region of the European Union and according to the Bulgarian National Institute of Statistics, the unemployment rate in this area ans especially in Lom is extremely high for the country. This affects the local businesses, lowering its quality. So the chances of the young people from the region for finding a job are very low. The local business is very important for them because it is the place where they can see the work environment and learn how to work in real conditions. The high level of unemployment and the recession of this business does not allow them to realize in the work sphere.The project "Future Move Tech"'s main aim is the improvement of the knowledge and competences of the students from the Vocational High School for Production Technologies, helping them to experience real working conditions. 20 students studying or recently graduated from disciplines related to motor transport equipment will be sent for three weeks in Italy (Sicily, Messina). The students will practice in companies in Sicily working in the field of manufacturing and repairing of motor vehicles which will help them acquire practical and theoretical experience and expand their knowledge in this area.Italy is a country with traditions in the automotive industry and therefore it is the best place where students could improve their professional qualifications.The local business in Lom is where the students from the Professional School usually make their first steps in the real working environment, but this can not happen to all of them, as the business is in recession. Therefore, it important to go to and practice in a country dealing with automotive and car maintenance to get a chance to gain experience. The experience in Italy will give them a chance to experience the latest technology, try new ways of working and see high European standards in the field of automotive.The participation in the project will increase the capacity of the sending organisation(Vocational High School for Production Technologies) and receiving organisation (ASSOCIAZIONE ARTISTICA CULTURALE A ROCCA).The cooperating partners will improve the capacity of their organizations and increase the feeling of membership in the European Community and values.On regional level, the project will help in the reduction of youth unemployment and for preparation of qualified young people who are familiar with the high European standards.
