Fusion for chance
Date du début: 1 mars 2012,

Egyesek Youth Association is again making the change happen in Nógrád in one of the poorest region in Hungary. We started our successful project with a Group EVS in 2010 and continued with an International Voluntary Camp in 2011 where we had 20 volunteers from 8 different countries from all over the world. In 2011 we managed to improve our project so we organized playsessions for 120 roma kids in 4 villages for 3 weeks and volunteered with the high schools students in 3 different places. According to the feedbacks and our experience the activity we carry out is unique, essential and appreciated in this area. In 2012 summer we would like to continue our hard work with a 3 weeks long Group EVS and make this experience available for European EVSers with fewer opportunities. We will host 22 EVSers with fewer opportunity from 9 different countries. We believe the meeting of the disadvantaged EVSers, the roma kids and the young people from this area will create strong learning process for everyone. During the Group EVS they will plan, realize and evaluate together playsessions and the voluntary actions. The groups will be always mixed by countries. We are going to have mentor meetings (6) where they can share about their learning process and in order to implement this we will motivate them to create a home project. Every group will have a professional mentor. Our working method called learning by doing so the organizers will be always there to support them and they will encourage the EVSers to take initiative and be responsible for what they are creating. In this year we will upgrade the project with the active involvement of the local youth from Nógrád. We will invite them to participate in creating the playsessions together with the EVSers. Additional element will be the creative teams where the volunteers will learn social media by making media materials about their service. We are sure with this improvements we can increase the impact what we have reached already.
