All the teachers at our school emphasize life long learning. Everybody needs to learn new technics, methodology to make themselves more qualified teachers. As our country is part of the EU, our school emphasizes the European dimension. Besides focusing on the teaching of our mother and state language we put a big stress on teaching and learning English. As we participate in a lot of methodological conferences we know that using creative teaching methods can make our teaching more effective to strengthen the classroom atmosphere. Attending the course energised us and offered us some alternative activities, strategies and approaches to teaching and learning. It also developed our personal competencies and comunication skills. It widened our range of teaching options and promoted our own creative abilities too. Attending the workshops helped us to improve different methods and approaches in the teaching process. During the course we had a change to meet not only people from Great Britain, but we could also get to know colleagues from other parts of Europe, so we could learn more about their culture, habits and educational system. After returning home our colleagues were invited to engage in our workshops and lessons of English language in order to convey our knowledge and newly learnt techniques. As a result every single teacher of our school had a change to acquire these new methods what can be used in their own lessons too. We also innovated our educational program. We could have the opportunity to introduce such themes wich can be taught in humanistic, realistic and pedagogical lessons too.
