Freiwillige Berufliche Praktika in Tschechien 2014/15
Date du début: 1 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 30 juin 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project "Voluntary Vocational Internships – Freiwillige Berufliche Praktika 2014/15" was focused on vocational schools, training companies and training providers on supra-company level as well as on external level, whose professionals want to enable their apprentices to do an internship in the Czech Republic. Another target group of our project were adolescents who were taking part in a pre-vocational education initiative, during the internship. During the project period 19 activities with a total number of 108 participants took place. The mobilities took 14 to 45 days. Being the applicant of the project Tandem coordinated the planned activities, requested their funding and assisted the participating organizations in their project management regarding contractual, content-related and pedagogical issues. Furthermore, the employees of the coordinating centres supported interested organizations, which did not have a project partner yet, to find a suitable institution for cooperation. In the course of the project Tandem supported the networking of the two countries, for example by an intensive consulting for organizations whose own resources are too scarce for mobility projects. This enhanced the development of the internationalization strategies of these organizations and also opened the way for an internationalization of their complete training schedules. The main objective was to enable as many adolescents as possible to do an internship in the Czech Republic and to make them recognize the neighboring country as an attractive working environment. Nowadays, young workers across all industries are more than ever expected to possess competences like flexibility, mobility and foreign language skills, which can be acquired through internships in a country abroad. At the deployment sites in companies, workshops or other facilities the young workers encountered new workflows, improved and consolidated their acquired knowledge, made themselves familiar with a new working environment and occupied themselves with a usually unknown foreign language. The project "Voluntary Vocational Internships” – “Freiwillige Berufliche Praktika 2014/15" contributed to the achievement of the mobility goals on European and Federal German level and gave adolescents, who are at school-to-work transition, the opportunity to acquire additional competences and to improve their individual prospects.
