"Free your mind - Cross your borders" means an international youth action based on adventure education outdoors. 40 juveniles from Straubing (D), Wels (A), Tábor (CZ), Romans-sur-Isere (F), will meet at the sport camp of the "Bayerischer Landessportverband (BLSV)" in the national park of the bavarian forest.They have to solve different tasks in multinational teams. Social skills like capacity for teamwork, cooperation, ability to trust other persons and responsibility will be experienced by the methods of adventure education outdoors.Starting from their own cultural origin the juveniles will learn about european diversity, european options and improve their own action. Target group are young people aged between 15 - 20 years with social handicaps. They usually have a lack of self-confidence and fear of the unknown. Another barrier is the lack of fluency. Methods of adventure education outdoors are the key to get involved to the target group.
