Mobility enables an active participation in social life and therefore the potential of as many young people as possible is to be released. Young people all over Europe are moving to learn, to work and during their leisure time. Distances become shorter, means of transport become faster and people become more and more independent. The intention of this project is not predominantly the analysis of the reasons for mobility but rather the means of transport themselves. Using the means of transport for mobility is to be analyzed and compared at the participating schools. Our project will bring together our six school communities to discuss and to get common experiences by using different means of transports.Students should become aware of being traffic participants who are in charge of their fellow men, the resources and the environment. Each aspect will be a module of our meetings. They contain mobility in the past, the present and the future in the broadest sense. Our students plan a trip to a partner school and they train their risk behaviour and awarness of danger when participating in traffic. Finally they analyze and present solutions for a sustainable mobility in the future.Our students will develop interest and pleasure for lifelong mobility by intelligent and sustainable behaviour of mobility.
