Fostering the cooperation of research institutes and R+D sector in the border region (CROSSRESEARCH)

The aim of the project is to strengthen the cooperation between sectors involved in R+D, including research institutes and university departments. The direct target groups of the project are researchers, university departments, research institutes and university students. In the framework of the project five implementable research plans are to be elaborated in different areas: 1. National stereotypes, minority, ethnic groups and identity researches; 2. futurology, sustainable development; 3. Economic and social influences of the accession of the EU; 4. Panel sample survey of former SME cross-border research; 5. Civil organisations, social cohesion. During the project four research workshops are to be organized and both partner operate trainee program. Further results of the project are the elaboration of feasibility study and architectural plan of a joint, cross-border research centre. The project’s aims are accomplished with the joint work of research experts and trainees.The general objective of the project is fostering the cooperation of research institutes and R+D sector in the border region.The direct beneficiaries of the project are research institutes, universities organizations of the R+D sector in the border region (minimum 20 organisations).Further direct beneficiaries are the researchers and university students who participate in the project (8 experts, 18 trainees), and other researchers and university students concerned and interested in cross-border researches.The main specific activities of the project are: elaboration of implementable research plans; professional research workshops; feasibility study, architectural plan, purchase equipment. Among project results: 1 networking conference, 5 implementable research plans, 1 feasibility study of the joint, cross-border research centre (South-East European Interregional Research Centre), 1 architectural plan, 4 professional workshops, 18 trainees involved in the project.
