Date du début: 15 sept. 2011, Date de fin: 14 sept. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

U-MOBILITY is a mobility programme to be implemented by Universidad de Malaga. It is aimed at experienced researchers resident in the region of Andalusia. The main objective of this programme is to foster trans-national mobility and international cooperation in research within the research community of Universidad de Malaga and the region of the south of Spain, so that researchers can find the best way to develop their careers, increase their competences in research and become mature scientists. The programme has an overall duration of 48 months. Within this period, Universidad de Malaga will publish an open call for 12 fellowships of 24-36 months to carry out a research project contributing to the career development of the fellow. The fellowship consist of two phases: a trans-national mobility phase (outgoing phase) of 18-24 months, developed in a high level institution (public or private) of any EU Member State, Associated Country or Third Country, and a return phase of 9-12 months, in which the fellow will come back to Universidad de Malaga to finish his/her research project. The programme is based on individual-driven mobility and in a merit based open competition. The awarded fellows will be appointed under a contract of employment with Universidad de Malaga including complete social security coverage. This programme constitutes a breakthrough within the region of the south of Spain and expects to help to break mobility barriers, encouraging more researchers to tackle a trans-national mobility experience. Fellows will gain experience and independence, fostering long-term collaborations with research groups of Universidad de Malaga, which will increase its international visibility. Moreover, this initiative is aligned with international and forthcoming national science policies, so it will possibly cause a leverage effect in regional institutions that can contribute to the future development of the programme.
