Fortbildung im bilingualen Unterricht: CLIL und Zweitsprachenerwerb
Date du début: 1 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 30 juin 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The SESB is a school of special pedagogical imprint which aims at the integrated education of bilingual study groups within exclusive bilingual classes. In order to successfully implement our concept, whose core consists in bilingual classes, a broader and more intense further training is required/necessary for the whole teaching staff (more than 100 employees) in the fields of acquisition of a second language, CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) and development of organization within bilingual classes. The project, that has been carried out within the last two years, took aim at the improvement of the methodical and didactical skills of our teaching staff in those fields. Focuses of this project of further training were the new developments in the field of CLIL as well as the acquisition and didactics of a second language. On the whole we could perform 16 mobilities of different measures of further training. 7 colleagues took courses in the fields acquisition of literacy (Lectoescritura) and acquisition of a second language (Estrategias lectoras y escritoras en ELE y EL2) in Málaga and Santander, 2 teachers realized an art project with our partnerschool in Torrox, 3 teachers visited a bilingual finnish-spanish school in Helsinki within the context of job-shadowing and 2 colleagues visited our partner schools and also the regional advanced training centre for teaching staff CEP in Velez-Málaga. Particularly the art project enabled a productive cooperation between our schools. Both our art teachers started a project in the first year with pupils from Torrox, Málaga which resulted in the second year in an exhibition taking place within the framework of the Biennale “Art and School” in Velez-Málaga, that they also accompanied. The results of this project gave new impetus to the development of our teaching. The participating colleagues have improved their methodical and didactical skills within the field of bilingual classes, particularly concerning the jointly planned and carried out art lessons. The linguistic abilities, which are necessary for the work in the range of bilinguality at the Europa-Schule, were as well improved. The further training sessions gave the colleagues a new insight in the latest research and practice, whose impulses already found their way into our classes.
