Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Lycée Professionnel Brossaud Blancho in Saint Nazaire is a vocational school which offers a wide range of trainings in the sectors of industry and services to 800 students ; 60% of them come from lower social classes. The school is actively engaged in international openness which is part of its school project and performance agreement. This thrust also echoes the academic draft and national guidelines about the law of school reform. Our project brings forward teachers training to encourage vocational school students' mobility. Facing a business environment directly linked with international exchanges, teachers must consider this dimension and open students’ horizon towards their future professional insertion. Opening a European section when classes resume in 2015 will make sense with developing partnerships with foreign schools. A convention has already been signed with a school in Most , Czech Republic, which offers the same trainings as Lycée Professionnel Brossaud-Blancho . A first step towards mobility will allow 4 teachers leaving to Most to exchange about educational practices and to improve their language skills. Then they will be able to assist students looking for a training period abroad. As a second step, they will prepare students’ mobility to Most where students will attend courses corresponding to their training. Most school, which is itself in relation with the local business network, will be a stepping stone to find work placements in local companies. The main objectives are : -training teachers to use a foreign language in their professional practice -increasing knowledge, ability and communication skills inspired by other methods - improving adaptability to a new linguistic, professional and cultural environment -motivating students to have their training periods abroad thanks to this staff mobility -stimulating et providing means to find employment worldwide Expected results and evolutions : Increasing the number of staff members involved in a mobility program and the number of teachers holding the certification Deployment of the number of training periods abroad Widening access to higher education and vocational integration in companies linked to international exchanges
