Formation ostréicole en entreprises irlandaises
Date du début: 1 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 30 juin 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

This project aimed to make a whole class of 8 pupils benefit in final year of high school of vocational high school diploma Cultures Marines of an internship in binomial in professional environment in an English-speaking country. For its wealth in oyster companies, on advice of the Irish Office of the Sea (BIM, the equivalent of our Ministry of the Sea), we chose the counties of Cork and Kerry in republic of Ireland. The reserved dates were from September 15th, 2014 till October 10th, 2014. To bring to a successful conclusion this project, we leaned on a group established(constituted) by teachers, by administration staff, but we also used the skill(competence) of the pupils for the preparation of the journey, in particular in the choice of the professional terms for the preparation of the communication in a company. With the aim of following the advice(councils) given during the balance sheet(assessment) of our previous project (Leonardo) we opted for a week of integration before the investment(placement) of the pupils in a company. This week seemed to us useful to allow our pupils, of a low(weak) level in English, to appropriate as much the specific accent of the Irish as the usual vocabulary in concrete situations of the everyday life. The cultural visits and the use of the various transport favored this established fact. This week of integration also allowed the guides to take the measure of the complexity of this group. However, in the course of project, we were notified by the agency ERASMUS that the week of integration could not be eligible in funds attributed in the measure or the pupils were not in a company. We had thus 8 weeks in a company to realize to put itself in adequacy with the request of European funds. After numerous discussions between the various actors of the organization of this mobility (teachers, administrator, management of the High school), we chose to make 2 other pupils of the same training benefit even if it engendered expenses additional. These 2 pupils of the first level Vocational high school diploma Cultures Marines were chosen on the basis of their diligence and of their skill in English. They must be sent in June, 2016 for month but dates examinations were delayed this year on June 6th and consequently we were able to send them only by June 8th. During this period of compulsory training in professional environment within the framework of their program, we noticed that the pupils had for some oh them learnt the different oyster techniques of breedings adapted to a specific environment and had deepened or distributed those whom they know. They developed at the same time their capacity of observation and their critical mind. They increased them capacities of oral and written expression of the English language and noted the interest of the current work to the High school. We had the certainty which the improvement of these skills, associated with this more concrete use, would allow them to approach more easily and on a more positive state of mind the specific and general tests(events) of the high school diploma which got ready from their return. It was the case for 2 pupils sent in June, 2016, but for the group of twelfth grader, rather difficult in the course of the year, it was not determining. It felt the effects in the handing-in of the reports of the trainees. On the other hand, this dumping in an occupational, geographical and linguistic environment different from that of the previous intership, all realized in France, allowed them to acquire a certain shape of maturity appropriate to approach more serenely the world of the work, in particular in its international dimension. Indeed, in spite of a rather difficult current context, the oyster skills and the professional French equipment are recognized and are well exported. So, to put all the chances near(on the side of) our pupils, we plan to formalize this experience and to use it to join it effectively into their future CV
