SUM UP We have acknoledged huge needs within the school and the team toward language teaching. The team is not trained enough. It needs to improve a lot its language skills in order to pass on a diversified, wealthy and valuable teaching to the pupils. The teachers are feeling confused and even sometimes unskilled relative to english teaching. Teachers have identified the needs to restart their knowledges, to set a suitable methodology and to deal deeper with english culture. We have applied for this training because of all this lack of knowledge. Today we seek to create a dynamic about the english practice and to pass on a better teaching to our pupils. This project is supported by a school pedagogical advisor. She brings her knowledges to the team. She sometimes takes part in meetings and in the classrooms. The Erasmus + training program matches the identified needs: - acquire or improve the language skills - restart the vocabular, grammar and spoken english knowledges - raise awareness about the different methodology approaches in language teaching - acquire a better knowledge of the english educational system and culture with an improvement of the cultural intelligence - enrich the teaching materials Two teachers have vontunteered to take part in this training and to pass on its benefits to the whole teaching team. They are wilful, involved in the project and asking for a training. The activities focus on language understanding and spoken productions (and written for the third cycle: speaking/fluent speaking/ taking part in a conversation/ improving the uderstanding of the british culture are the four orientations. Three fields were determined to deal with these orientations (saying basic sentences, asking basic sentences, answering basic sentences) and a lexicon specified by the european authorities (level A1 in elementary school) The short term impact of this mobility is to produce a better confidence for the teachers which will create a better learning for the pupils. The long term impact will be to allow the school to create a european dynamic by creating international projects (exchanges, meeting other foreign teachers and classes) To finish, the success of this project will bring the satisfaction of starting a thought about english at school and to benefit from its consequences: acquiring a better confidence for the teachers, opening minds and creating a dynamic based on English.
