Formas de promover o associativismo entre @s jovens
Date du début: 1 sept. 2014, Date de fin: 31 août 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

With the purpose of promoting the youth associations role in youngsters empowerment, the project "FAJ+ - Formas de promover o associativismo entre os jovens" wants to hear from young people the importance of the non-formal educational activities in their personal development as active citizens and also provide tools for civic participation using volunteering in social projects. We are facing a social situation where that is urgent to find answers even more efficient and meet the growing needs of the young people and their responsibility/role in the definition of policies in the European Union context. While platform of youth organizations, privileged spaces for the exercise of democratic youth, the project partnership will take Associativity and Youth Participation as a major area of work. Youth participation in the development of policies that directly affect them and the support (financial and otherwise) to youth associations are therefore essential matters on which FAJUVIS intended to promote thought, either internally or in structures where decisions take place. The project FAJ+ aims to develop some lines based on the debate and the exchange of ideas about non-formal educational activities, mostly volunteering and associativity participation and its importance in the professional/personal path. The motivation for this project is based in the visibility of the Youth associations and its relation in the reinforcement of the Youth participation as active citizens and the promotion of youth associativity, as well the enhancement of the democracy building, European Union promotion and the human rights protection. This project will be an open space for the debate between young people, where they will be the key-actors to discuss, as for example, the international experiences promoted by the European Union (international mobility and volunteering). They will contribute with qualitative ideas for youth participation in such projects, better ways and policies to promote inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities (geographical obstacles, economic obstacles, educational obstacles and others) Youth participation in the development of policies that directly affect them and the support (financial and otherwise) to youth associations are therefore essential matters on which the FAJUVIS intended to promote thought, either internally or in structures where decisions take place.
