Formarea competențelor de comunicare la copiii cu deficiență de auz prin metoda verbo-tonală-premiză a incluziunii sociale

The aim of the project is the training teachers in the acquisition of knowledge and skills in verbo-tonal method. This method will be used to educate children with hearing and /or speech impairments in order to the early development of individual potential and to give equal opportunities to children learning hard of hearing and / or speech impairments to school , social and professional integration. During the training participants will get theoretical training that includes lectures delivered by Polyclinic SUVAG experts. The lectures will be on differential diagnosis, rehabilitation of hearing, speech and language rehabilitation and education of children with hearing impairment or speech impairments. In practice training the SUVAG (Universal Verbo-Tonal Auditory System Guberinic) experts will hold demonstration lessons with practical application in teaching of hearing and speech rehabilitation for children with hearing and speech impairments. Expected results in the term of skills acquired during the training course are: the theoretical understanding of verbo-tonal method, basic understanding of electroacoustic functioning devices used in verbo-tonal method, methodological and didactic skills acquisition necessary for the implementation of educational and auditory verbal rehabilitation procedures used with children with hearing and /or speech impairments. The achieved skills of each participant during the training will allow them to be a professional resource for the institution in the following areas: innovation in educational and therapeutic activities; implementation of instruments verbo-tonal method and in educational work (teaching, assessment, therapeutic intervention), training of the colleagues and the students performing internships within the institution; internal and external dissemination of methodologies in methodical committees , exchanges with other institutions in the country; communication skills and teamwork. Evaluation at the end of training involves two exams, a written exam first, and then interview with three members of the committee to assess the knowledge and skills acquired. All participants will evaluate the training by anonymously completing a satisfaction questionnaire. Monitoring achieve the purpose and objectives of the project will be done during project implementation and after the project by evaluating the long-term development of students. The assessment at the end of trainning will be made by the mentor of the host organization and the project team leader from the beneficiary institution, and will determine whether the objectives have been met, participants improve their skills. The validation of achieved results will be recognised through the Certificate of mobility Europass.
