The project entitled “Professional training in European space” addresses students in technical and vocational education. With this project come to support quality improvement in technical and vocational education in our school with an impact locally, regionally and nationally. The purpose of this project is quality professional training in technical and vocational education, by conducting three weeks of practical training in a specialized company from Germany recognized at European level. The projects objectives: O1. Developing professional skills and practical abilities in the field of training of participants for easy insertion into the labor market. O2. Increasing the quality of professional training to ensure a smooth transition from school to active life. O3. Personal development through transnational mobility and development of communication skills in major international languages. The school provides good theoretical knowledge which allows the accumulation of basic and specialized technical knowledge, but encounters problems because of insufficient material resources and poor quality of local partnerships established. This project offers participants the opportunity to carry out practice in a dual training system - in Germany. The host organization, HBS Elektrobit GmbH is a company in our fields of training (electrical, electronic, automation), doing work at standards set by the EU. The participants are 64 students in eleventh grade, technical profile, divided into six flows. Flows 1 and 4 refer to the eleventh grade students of professional education, qualification “Low Voltage Operation Electrician”. Flows 2 and 5 refer to the eleventh grade students of technological education, the field Electronics-Automation, flows 3 and 6 refer to the eleventh grade students of technological education, the field Electric. The duration of each flow is 21 days and duration of the entire project is 2 years. For each flow through this project we are planning to carry “Practical Training Stages” in a professional training institution and practical internship company through transnational placement. The need to make a practical training abroad comes from the labor market requirement of: easy adaptation, flexibility, quality professional training for future graduates. After the completion of the placement in a technologically advanced country the participants will be trained to European quality standards. They will set an example for other students in the vocational and technical education, from the school community and civil society of Arad, motivating them towards vocational or technical education. By carrying out international projects in our institution the quality of vocational training increases, bringing on the other hand prestige and recognition on local level for the institution as a good trainer of qualified people for the labor market.
