The project titled "Initial formation with Erasmus+ mobilities, the key to succeeding in passing from theory to practice" whose beneficiary is the "George Bibescu" Technological High School, has a target group of XI-th grade students who are in initial training, skill level 3. The mobility will take place in two different fluxes in April and June 2015.
The two partners are from Spain, namely from Puerto del Rosario(Fuerteventura Island), for the first flux and from Malaga, for the second one.
The project’s specific objectives are a customization of the European general objectives and the national objectives specific to the Erasmus+ Programme:
- to develop the students’ general technical skills that enable them to identify different types of electronic circuits(following symbols and diagrams), to connect/disconnect circuits in various equipments and installations, to assess the operating parameters of the circuits according to the technical documents;
- to develop/improve the students’ Spanish language skills;
- to develop the students’ social skills such as their adaptability to life in common, teamwork, their tolerance for cultural diversity.
There is a total of 30 students from the electric and mechanic fields who will take part in the project( 15 with the qualification of Automotive Electronist Electrician Technician and 15 with the qualification of Mechatronics Technician).
The participants will be selected from a target group of students with relevant qualifications .
The project implementation will begin immediately after the selection process with the preparatory activities for the participants( linguistic and cultural training, practical training). During the mobility period, the students training activities will take place throughout the mornings in the receiving organizations. In the afternoons and at week-ends the students will be involved in social and cultural activities, trips, sightseeing.
The management team, established by internal decision ,as to avoid the conflict of interest, will carry out the logistical issues such as transportation, medical insurance, accommodation, social security.
The students will also sign agreements with the sending and receiving organizations prior to the start of the mobility period. These agreements ensure a high quality work placement and they refer to all the activities to be undertaken by the students.
The project’s outcomes will be tangible- the Europass Mobility Certificate and intangible- social abilities gained, interpersonal relationships, life experiences.
The estimated impact on participants is the development of their specialized technical skills, teamwork abilities, communication skills, the increase of their sense of responsibility, tolerance and self-confidence.
The potential benefits gained from this project are: the development of participants’ professional skills and competences that leads to a better inclusion on the job market, the increase of our school’s prestige that will motivate more students to opt for the electric and mechanic fields, a varied training program for the target group students.
