" Formándome en Europa"
Date du début: 1 sept. 2015, Date de fin: 31 août 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

IES Mediterráneo "GETTING TRAINED IN EUROPE" program is aimed to our two groups of pupils taking the second year of the Technical Degree in Dependent People Care. In particular, we seek six our students having the opportunity to complete their on-the-job training subject -known in Spain as Formación en Centros de Trabajo- in an European country. We consider that taking this internship in a country such as Norway will help them practice several skills they have been training for, including the use of a foreign language -English- which they have been studying all their education long. Regarding this, they have been learning during this degree how to communicate properly in both everyday situations and those related to their professional needs. Thus: - They can enhance their short and long term employability. - They are encouraged to continue with their higher education or to improve their skills in a foreign language. For the above mentioned reasons, we contact the "Lønborg videregående skole" centre in Bergen, Norway, with which we have already collaborating for more than six years now, and arrange a three-month internship. During those twelve weeks the students will be training in social institutions related to their professional profile. To guarantee the proper development of the programme, a series of tasks, activities and monitoring have been planned, taking part both Lønborg videregående skole and IES Mediterráneo. They will be communicating with each other via ICT, as well as eventual visits from those responsible of the programme. In particular, the selected students will have to be accompanied by two of these teachers during their first week in Norway. We deem their continuous assessing as crucial to the success of this initiative, that is why we establish the assessing indicators and instruments, counting with everyone involved to use them. In conclusion, this programme represents an invaluable opportunity for both the students' learning and the teachers training; as well as way to promote the Technical Degree in Dependent People Care established by the Spanish Ministry of Education.
