Formación en Enfermería Básica en Europa-3
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

This is the third year we apply for our FEBE (Basic Nursing Training in Europe) project. Our school, IES Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, wants to send two students and two teachers from intermediate Nursing Training Course to Turnhout (Belgium) for internship integrated in the HIVSET dual training model where Nursing Training is taught. We want our students to receive a training formation, alternating part of their stay at school and the other in the place where the Belgian students do their internship such as Elderly Homes. It is intended that our students gain a high quality professional experience, improved their language skills and enrich a cultural immersion. Regarding teachers, we hope they will be able to expand their knowledge in Vocational Training, discover new and / or different teaching methodologies in Nursing and new forms of organization of teaching, such as the dual one. Mobilities will take place during the month of March 2016. Our students will travel for three weeks to Turnhout where HIVSET school is located. Our students will be integrated into the same training process- theorical and practical lessons,of those of Belgian Nursing students. They will go to the classrooms and workshops and develop appropriate practices to achieve their professional skills. Besides, our students will go together with the Belgian students to nursing homes where they will undertake basic nursing training practices in real situations. Our Students will have Belgian tutors who will monitor and assess them with sharing criteria between Spanish and Belgian teachers. Teachers will be integrated into teaching teams; they will watch, collaborate and in some cases teach for a week. They will also have the opportunity to observe our students at hospitals or elderly homes. In our school, we believe that this training in Belgian school and their internship will add a great value in our students´ curriculum. It is well known the high existing competitiveness in any business sector and also in the nursing field. We sincerely believe that the experience provided by this type of mobility, puts our students in a privileged position when it comes to finding new employment options. At the end of their stay, we hope that students and teachers have increased their skills- as teachers and students. We also hope that the organizations involved strengthen ties with new projects and strengthening existing ones, so that in the future more students and teachers benefit from these two schools( IES Manuel Gutierrez Aragón in Spain and o HIVSET in Belgium)
