FORMACIÓN EN CENTROS DE TRABAJO EXTRANJEROS BENALUP CASAS VIEJAS

Casas Viejas high-school is located in Benalup Casas Viejas, Cádiz, a highly depressed area with a high rate of unemployment, 40% approximately, especially amongst women and youngsters.Most of young population dropped out from school before finishing CSE (Compulsory Secondary Education) and has not been able to take up studying. Self-employment initiatives are limited, even though there is a high number of tourists coming because of its paramount geographical situation (Pueblos blancos and Ruta del Toro).With this project, three students from Second Year Vocational Studies would apply for mobilities, helping them to undergo Tuition in Working Posts with an amount of 410 hours of experience in foreign enterprises (France). New working opportunities would be created for them, developing an upgraded profile which would allow them access to new commercial initiatives, improving their self-reliance and resilience. In order to do so, we count with the Lycée Professionnel Saint-Exupéry as a project partner, where 4 different Vocational Studies are offered (one of them for Administrative Officers), providing experienced tutoring of students.We are experienced professional tutors of trainee students, with a fruitful relationship with the Centro de Asesoramiento y Desarrollo Empresarial (CADE), Fundación Andaluza, paramount institution to trace the working needs in the area and provide employment according to our students profiles. All in all, we are also ready to host foreign trainee students from France.With this project, we also apply for a mobility for our teaching staff (Job Shadowing) to learn from other teaching experiences of our project partner.With this action, we want to improve the professional opportunities of the groups in peril of professional exclusion in our village, and provide new commercial opportunities for new businesses.Due to the small size of our village (7,000 inhabitants) the dissemination of the project is guaranteed, thanks to the continuous cooperation with a number of social institutions interested (Teaching community, Adult School, Town Hall, Entrepreneurs Association in La Janda).Benefits in the short and long run in the village would be great, trying to increase the number of people who would take up studying, and mobilising teaching life and business in general. We hope for this project to spur others in order to develop new relationships with similar high-schools in the area.
