Intercultural skills and multidisciplinary competences are an essential part of an Europe open school. So that these skills are improved, the imparting of knowledge by intercultural training courses and project management training courses is very important . The courses in Teneriffa unit theoretical knowledge and practical implementation. Important for us is that our representatives attend the courses together with teachers from other countries . So it is possible, that the cross-cultural learning can not only take place during the training course period, but also during the whole seminar time . Furthermore meeting potential project partners can intensify their cooperation, for planing with them school exchanges , e- twinning or job shadowing. Project goal is the improvement of intercultural skills and project management skills of teaching staff. Therefore the two representatives of our school should be willing to attend training courses abroad, have sufficient language skills and should be open to the topic multiculturalism. They also should be willing to spread the European idea to colleagues and students by integrating the European idea in teaching. Description of measures: Participation in intercultural project management training courses Methodology for project implementation: After participation in the training courses intercultural competence shall be implemented in lessons and furthermore the project management skills of teachers shall institutionalize European projects. Description of the expected results, effects and potential long-term benefits: The participation in this project will effect positive in different ways. As a result the work at the school with European projects will be more effective. The integration of the whole teacher body will motivate the teachers, too, so that they are even more inspired for European projects. By expanding these skills our students will be better prepared in the future for the demands of the European and international labour market.
