PROJET
TERMINÉ
Summary and the main aims and content.
Students mobility;
The main reason for sending out students is that differences are a good base for developing new professional solutions. Going abroad gives the opportunity to exchange knowledge about different trade traditions. This exchange gave the students the opportunity to improve both as professionals and human beings. The reports from the students tell us that they have learnt a lot during their stay abroad. We have sent both gardeners and florists. The florists have learnt about floristry in other countries, and their experiences are that there are many ways of floristry. They made bouquets, arrangements and flowers for funerals in different ways. The gardeners have learnt about gardening and have been working and practicing in different types of green production and maintenance of green areas. The school systems are also different from country to country. They have learnt about different cultures and countries, and they have also learnt a lot about themselves.
All the students have used the Europass during the placement. The Europass describes what the students have done and learned during the stay.
The Europasses are very important for the apprentices and students. Placements in this contract have certificates from Vea and and the partner as documentation. In this certificates it is mentioned where the students have been, for how long and what they have been doing.
. Criteria used for selection and recruitment of participants
• All the students at Vea got information about the Leonardo da Vinci – programme for mobility. They had to write an application about where they wanted to go and why we should choose them for a student’s exchange. After we had read the applications, the students had to come for an interview where they were asked about how they wanted to handle in different situations.
All the students have to prepare and held a presentation from the stay for students and staff at Vea. They also have to make an article for Veas homepage. This is a good way to share experience and knowledge throughout the organization.
• Each beneficiary prepared for the placement in its own way mentally. Some had to prepare for being in a foreign country alone for 14 days without understand the language. All the beneficiaries had to prepare by reading about the country and place they were going to visit, make questions for the host organisation about what they should base their inquiries on. The students had to order their own tickets for train, plane and so on.
The employees mobility;
The main reason to send staff from Vea to our mobility partners is to learn about the education system and teaching in other european countries.
It is interesting and important to learn about the different handcrafts and explore how they are exercised in the various sectors. This is important for developing skills in Norway. It is also important for the school Vea that the employees get to know our partners in Europe to make sure that the quality is good enough and the level is right for our students. All the staff have to prepare and held a presentation from the stay for the staff at Vea. They also have to make an article for Veas homepage. This is a good way to share experience and knowledge throughout the organization.
