FIT@KOGEKA (Foreign In-service Training At KOGEKA)
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

CONTEXT Since last school year, KOGEKA is promoting the concept of 'LED Learning': 'Levensecht' (lifelike), 'Eigentijds' (present-day), 'Duurzaam' (sustainable) education. This means we want to clarify as much as possible the relevance of our learning activities for everyday life, that we aim for blended learning (a perfect mix of ICT supported and other lessons) and that we try to teach our pupils the 21st century skills. We want to deliver active and confident young people who take their reponsibility in society. They know their talents and succeed in a flexible and assertive way to deal with changes in today's and tomorrow's society. OBJECTIVES We want to adapt our European projects to the concept of 'LED Learning' and to the new educational programme Erasmus+. PARTICIPANTS xxx teachers who are involved in European projects including pupils exchanges in our schools. ACTIVITIES The participating teachers will do jobshadowing in a partner school we are or have been cooperating with for many years and which has made the transition to Erasmus+ in its European projects succesfully. They will follow the coordinator of internationalisation or another teacher involved in European projects of our partner school during a week of European project activities. METHODOLOGY Through conversations the participating teachers will try to find the answer to questions like: - how can European project activities promote to achieve the 21st century skills? - how does present-day use of ICT (tablets, flip the classroom, blended learning, bring your own device etc) contributes to the success of European project activities? - how do pupils reflect on the learning strategies they used during European project activities? Apart from European project activities, the participating teachers will look fo ways the partner school is implementing bits and pieces of the concept of 'LED Learning': - how does the school handle the fact that online information is always and everywhere available for free nowadays? - how does the school respond to the growing trend of cocreation, learning together, working together? - hoe does the school promote the problem solving abilities of its pupils? etc... RESULTS AND IMPACT The European mobilities in this project will ensure that our teachers will further professionalize and that our European projects will be adapted to the concept of 'LED Learning' and to the new educational programme Erasmus+.
