Project Background Project Title: "Finding Balance in at Unstable World" - The current situation in which millions of people are on the run and societies are encouraged to rearrange and organize themselves accordingly - requires people who are capable of responding to such demands with new and innovative ideas. To respond out of an inner stability and balance it requires a whole spectrum of learning opportunities. During the jobshadowing activities of our planned mobilities we want to offer these learning opportunities to our participants through the exchange and the deepening of knowledge about other cultures, political structures, current social events, historical contexts as well as the awareness towards one's own prejudices Project Objectives : The objective is to gain a wider European view on the issue of migration and asylum in the various countries, understand the resulting impact on the biography of the affected people and the next generations - in order to gain further intercultural skills and innovative ideas to create a new society. 
Number and profile of participants: We plan mobilities for 9 participants in three or four partner countries. Most participants will visit all 4 partner organisations, some will visit twice to deepen the relationship and understanding. The participants come from both the management level as well as administrative staff of the organization, (Project Management + Fundraising) and the area of volunteering.
Description of all mobilities: The mobilities will be job shadowing activities with different focal points on the subject of refugees and migration. In Turkey insight will be gained on the one hand about the already established immigrant situation of the Association of Afro-Turkish community - Afrikalalier and on the other hand about current humanitarian aid through meetings and dialogues with Aegan RefugeeAid. In Poland, through meetings on the implications of war on future generations (including a visit to Auschwitz) and the work of refugee help groups in an atmosphere averse towards immigration. In Norway by Job Shadowing with an Organsiation which is organising volunteers for humanitarian help for refugees and has started an international volunteer network to help refugees upon arrival in Greece, Lesbos.
Process for project implementation: Our NGO will form a working group called "Strengthening the European profile" which will exist beyond program period. The working group will determin a coordinator who will be the contact person for both the participants as well as for the partner organization. She will also be responsible for the practical organization. The Coordinator will coordinate weekly with the Working Group on the results and purpose of the project and keep close contact with the participants in the mobilities.
Description of expected results and effects as well as expected long-term benefits: The encounter with four very different perspectives on the subject of refugees and migration will give the participants the chance to find their own balanced position on the issue through direct contact rather than virtual “contact”- through discussions rather than media reports. We expect that the mobilities will sharpen the European view on the issue in order to be more competent to deal with the daily requirements facing our association especially at the counseling center for adult refugees. Every day we are faced with new challenges the refugees present to us – each with their indivual plight, fate and destinies. The mobilities will enable the participants during their daily dealings with all those individual issues, to not loose the wider view on the current political situation, to act out of a historically well-founded context, to develop their own stable and fact-based, balanced position on the emerging daily social integration questions.The selection of these countries / partner organizations is based on the idea that each country represents a particular piece of the puzzle of the migration movement at this time and one can only get a look at the overall European picture by perceiving all parts.
