In line with the Council Conclusions of May 2007 on a coherent framework of indicators and benchmarks for monitoring progress towards the Lisbon objectives in Education and training, the objective of this project is to support the participation of Malta in EUROSTUDENT VI, which aims at providing comparable data on the social dimension of European higher education. This information helps in designing policies for improving higher education systems in Europe and better responding to the students' conditions. In this way, Malta's participation in EUROSTUDENT VI would contribute to the competitiveness of the European Higher Education Area.
