The project aims at enhancing economic development in border regions by attracting investment and creating adequate infrastructural facilities for business development. The Szeged Intermodal Industrial Park offers the companies of Subotica Industrial Park as well as other enterprises in Voivodina the opportunity of a well-organized, quick and simple means of transporting goods to EU countries and the Russian Federation. The combination of different transport modes (railway, highway, water and air) represents the unique advantage of the Subotica - Szeged border region, making it attractive to foreign and local enterprises. The creation of highly developed infrastructure on both sides of the border increases the competitiveness of the region by offering a variety of business opportunities, diversified economy and intermodal logistics.
