The project involved sending Middle Grade of Electricity and Middle Grade of Microcomputer Systems students to do their FCT practices in Osnabrück (Germany). The project involved the school management, the coordinator of European programs, the FCT coordinator, the tutors of the respective years and courses, the school secretary and the Culture and Education Councilor of the District Council of the of Osnabrück. The objectives of this project were the following: a) To improve the chances of our students’ employability. b) To provide students with language skills in a language such as German. c) To provide students with work experience in one of the countries with the highest employment of vocational training students. d) To improve the students’ knowledge of the cultural, social, economic and professional realities of the host country, in this case Germany. e) To promote cooperation between the centre and various European companies. Students spent 10 weeks in Osnabrück where our host partner organized the stay, integration, presentation in the company and monitor the practical training.
