Based on the idea that many elements of the intangible cultural heritage are in danger of disappearing and the need to involve local communities in the preservation, study and dissemination of this heritage, this project seeks to recover streamline existing arts and crafts in the region of Braga. Therefore, we will promote an intergenerational dialogue between senior citizens, connoisseurs of knowledge that are at risk of extinction and local youth and volunteers who support the collection and dissemination of arts and crafts so that they are available and can provide new opportunities to create self-employment. The Culture Makers project is based on the use of computer tools cooperatives (wiki) and intend to involve communities in the choice of what defines them culturally and therefore worth preserving and disseminating. Simultaneously, we aim to empower young people with fewer opportunities in ICT, coaching, entrepreneurship, culture and creativity, so as to return to his country can replicate the project to other young people and convey different approaches and methods of work can create your own employment and empower other young people to do the same. Before starting the implementation of the activity there will be a pre-registration of volunteers, that after respondents will be selected according to skills, capital gains and cultural diversity that will bring to the project, these interviews are done online or over the phone with all young volunteers selected for forming an integral part and have a voice in all phases of the project. Volunteers will have a tutor / youth worker in charge of the support his integration into Portuguese society, where the possible difficulties that may face will be identified, thus avoiding any cultural, social or personal shock that could result from existing differences between various cultures. The support given to the volunteer will be provided before, during and after the EVS activities, in order to minimize and prevent conflicts. This support, as well as all the practicalities of bringing a new society will be treated with the proper advance for each case, such as: organization of mobility instrument, bank account opening, visas if required, travel within and outside the country host, the European Health insurance Card, enrollment in the secure EVS, acquiring a phone number Portuguese, public transport pass or other practical matters, language support and pre-departure training (if agreed with the entity shipping). The working methods are: active participation and fieldwork, where each young volunteer participates in the phase of design, implementation and evaluation of the project. Countries involved and their roles: Portugal (coordination, training in Portuguese language and culture, workshops, meetings, publication and dissemination, exchange of experiences and good practices), Bulgaria (sending volunteers, meetings, publication and dissemination, exchange of experience and good practices) and Spain (sending volunteers, meetings, publication and dissemination, exchange of experiences and good practices). Dates planned: The activities will take place throughout the year of project implementation. Assessment methods: Assessment will be constant and will have a qualitative dimension, through meeting with volunteers, where a dynamic approach will be used to be able to reflect on what to improve on the design. This review is a collective construction on the learning and skills developed during the activity and will be designed individually when developing YOUTHPASS. Be affixed to a wall frame to develop and build by volunteers. Will also be made a quantitative evaluation with questionnaires sent to identify, obtain and provide relevant data and information to support the improvement of competences and skills that young people have proposed at time of initial meeting with the tutor / animator and expectations of young people and goals outlined individually and in groups.
