The MJC of Tregunc (Youth and Cultural association) has welcomed 4 EVS volunteers from 2002 to 2011 : one spanish, one italian, one from Montenegro and one german. The positive results of these EVS projects incite us to pursue the welcome of European young volunteers. This EVS project is related to a wider partnership on the scale of our network of Popular Education, and school of democracy for young people. For 10 years, our network welcomes and sends young people to European Voluntary Service. Our region is definitely opened towards international. A lot of international projects of young people are taking place on collective and individual basis. It is of course for that reason that our Popular Education Federation is involved from the beginning in European programs, to allow young people meetings of various countries of the European Union, and therefore promote an active citizenship. Thus, showing solidarity, thinking about other manners to look at the world together by giving his/her energy, sharing his/her time, his/her motivation in another country, are developing open-mindedness. In our Federation, we are trying to keep these skills in all our projects; strengthened by intercultural meeting. In November 2006, a local plan of accompaniment was set up within the MJC (youth and cultural association) of Tregunc and we have refined our values which we wish to stand up, those of popular education, advancing evolution and self-fulfillment of the person in the center of its projects. The values of the MJC (Youth and cultural association) are also based on pluralism, principles of secularism, respect for the persons and their convictions. We implement them by favoring the projects initiatives, by developing partners' network and by closer intervening with local population. More concretely, the Volunteer will participate in the activities implementation within the leisure center and / or within the space dedicated for young people. He/she can also help to the organization of shows, and to the press review. • Supervision of children or young people on leisure activities. with the activity leaders, the volunteer will propose workshops following her/his skills. (Reading, tales, graphics, music, dance). He/she will also participate to the daily life (progam presentation, children's meeting, meals, relationships with parents. • Shows preparation. With the MJC manager and the cultural coordinator, the volunteer will participate to public noticeboards, will prepare artists dressing room, the welcoming room for public during the shows.
