“facilitatiONline” is a training course and its theme is Facilitation of Online Learning. Kulturni Centar DamaD is the hosting organisation. The project will be held near Novi Pazar, on Pester plateau at ‘Borici’ Hotel. The overall aim of the project is: ‘To support youth workers and youth leaders in designing and facilitating effective e-learning experiences’. The objectives are: - To explore learning offline in order to better understand learning online; - To compare the concepts of education offline and online; - To explore the concept of non-formal education as an online tool; - To discover a variety of new and traditional methodologies that work online; - To explore YiA Programme in the context of e-learning; - To develop learning objectives for an e-learning course; - To develop an e-learning module/course in the context of the YiA Programme. The project will be 9 working days, plus 1 arrival and 1 departure day, from 12th to 21st of October 2012. The countries involved are: Serbia (host country); Macedonia; Albania; Portugal; Romania; Bulgaria; UK; Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina. There will be a total of 26 participants. “facilitatiONline” has three integrated learning phases: 1. Preparation for the course through e-learning; 2. 9 day long Residential training course taking place near Novi Pazar;3. Follow-up to the course through e-learning. The main implemented activities will include the participants learning how to use Moodle e-learning platform, creating their own online learning Units both for follow up of the TC and for potential future projects. Although some direct inputs will be necessary for learning Moodle, the methodologies will all be based on the principles of non-formal education. We will use small groups, experiential learning, the learning to learn concept, using and developing of participants own experiences, and self-directed learning.
