Our project „Facilitation Academy vol.1” was carried out between May 2-8 2015, and its main goal was to prepare the participants to deal with basic tasks of group-leading and coordinating. In order to reach that goal we improved their skills with the methods of non formal education and by learning with experiencing. This was the second international training of Federation of Children’s and Youth Municipal Councils. In a national level we have dealt a lot with improving the group-leading skills of youngsters, so we decided to reach further development in an international level with using our well-proven methods. Our partner organizations’ main task was to choose the right participants to attend our training, and we took the full responsibility of implementing the training. This was carried out according to the training plan which we created long before the training itself. The main outcomes of the training: fully prepared participants, who are capable of facilitating a workshop (lasting only a few hours) or even the program of a whole day. a very detailed blog, and also many plans of a possible youth exchange – created during the training. The project will be continued, because we saw a great opportunity in expanding the duration of facilitating (not only one day, but for example an individual project.)
