The project will be developed in Placeat and in the Centro Sociosanitario of Plasencia, Extremadura North. With an EVS duration of 9 months, 4 volunteers for Activity number 1,where the hosting organization is Placeat .The volunteers will come from sending organizations of Poland, Lithuania, Greece, Slovakia ; and 2 volunteers for Activity number 2,where the hosting organization is Centro Sociosanitario.The volunteers will come from sending organizations of Greece and Romania.It is a social project, in a center with people having mental disabilities (PLACEAT) and in a center for people having mental disorder, where the volunteer will support the daily job performed in the centers and will participate to the Leisure Services'planning . We would like the volunteer to feel within our team of workers from the beginning , by creating an intercultural atmosphere that will enrich both our professional team and our patients, improving the quality of their life. We are opened to any suggestions coming from the new volunteers. We would like to build a space for exchange of ideas and ways of doing, rich in experiences and where everyone involved can give and receive . Therefore, the volunteer will be determinant at the moment of deciding the activities in which he/she wants One of the main objectives of the project is to promote healthy lifestyles among the patients of PLACEAT and CENTRO SOCIOSANITARIO, by creating in them hobbies in sport and leisure activities. Another of our objectives is the inclusion of people with mental disabilities and mental disorder, from there that many of our projects go aimed at trying to offer a better quality of life to these groups of people.This is why we consider that the host of volunteers from other cultures would be a further motivation for our patients, our national volunteers and our partners, since it would bring an exchange of enriching experiences for each and every one of the members of our projects as well as for society in general.
